The Real Da Vinci Code: Leonardo's Vitruvian Man is a Code for Better Communication
The Vitruvian Man is a code for more effective communication. Understanding this code will help improve our relationships and success.
Leonardo Da Vinci's Vitruvian Man (the Da Vinci Man with four arms and four legs in a square and circle) is the most popular secular symbol in the world. My 10 years of research suggests that the Vitruvian Man is a universal symbol for greater love, relationships, success, health and the new age 21st century paradigm of indivisible wholeness, the paradigm for world peace. A New Renaissance!
The Da Vinci Man is a universal translator between scientific models (represented by the Da Vinci Man in the square) and religious symbols (represented by the Da Vinci Man in the circle). Therefore, the Vitruvian Man (Da Vinci Man) is a bridge between science and religion. There are amazing similarities between the sacred geometry of the Da Vinci Man, Yin-Yang, Star of David, Tree of Life, Christian Cross, Angels and Kabbalah.
The Art of Venting (with Kindness and Permission):
We often place armor around our feelings to protect ourselves. This is represented by the Da Vinci Man in the square. However, by sharing our feelings with a caring person in a loving way, we are released from negative emotions and experience greater understanding and compassion. This is represented by the Da Vinci Man in the circle. Opposites work together harmoniously in an evolutionary way (as evidenced in the two cojoined Da Vinci forms).

1) We are thankful for the contraction (represented by the Da Vinci Man with arms outstretched) and expansion of the universe (represented by the Da Vinci Man with arms uplifted). A black hole in the center of the Milky Way galaxy causes the galaxy to contract around it and keeps the expanding galaxy from flying apart. The sun contracts the solar system around it and holds the planets in their orbits.
2) The positively charged proton in the atomic nucleus keeps the negatively charged electron rotating in place. Positively charged sodium unites with negatively charged chlorine to produce salt.
3) Everything consists of waves. Each wave has a peak (expansion phase) followed by a trough (contraction phase). The in-breath precedes the out-breath.
4) Creation and destruction occur simultaneously in order for nature to evolve. The seed must be destroyed for the sprout to grow. The bud is destroyed for the flower to grow. The flower is destroyed for the fruit to grow. The fruit is destroyed for the seeds to grow. And so it goes in the great circle of life.
5) Pain receptors protect the body from harm. Without them we could burn our hand on a hot stove.
Compassionate Clarity?The Hero's Journey:
Compassion is represented by the Da Vinci Man with arms uplifted. Clarity is represented by the Da Vinci Man with arms outstretched.
The following communication exercises will increase your success to receive greater love, wealth, health and personal growth.
Consciously complain about some problem(s) in your life. After 3-5 minutes you will have an ?aha? about how appearances of negativity in this situation are just on the surface.
The situation may actually be a positive one below the surface, and perhaps through and through. See the setup and you may naturally fall into gratitude about the circumstances. Realize that something good is happening.
Shadow emotions of anger, sadness, fear, terror, shame, guilt and jealousy (contraction phase) sometimes overshadow our positive emotions of love, clarity, gratitude, happiness, joy and generosity (expansion phase).
When we are able to feel and/or express our shadow emotions, we are able to release them. This is like releasing the steam from a teakettle. We are then able to get more deeply in touch with our love, gratitude and joy. Furthermore, being in touch with our clarity, love, gratitude and joy allows us to be in touch with and release even deeper shadow emotions.
Shadow emotions are like an early-warning radar system. They are like pain receptors to warn us that something is off. They are like the gauges on our auto dashboard that warn us if the car is too low on gas, oil, water and other fluids. They help us get to some deep truth about a particular situation. The goal of shadow emotions is to warn us and then be released, like the steam of a teakettle, so that we can get back to our love, gratitude and joy. Emotions are e-motions; energy to be moved, like breathing in and out.
Kindness and tenderness is the greatest wisdom. Compassionate clarity is being aware of and venting, releasing and clearing our shadow emotions with kindness. Speaking the truth sweetly, with radical clarity, is getting real in a loving way. Compassionate clarity is a great way to get in touch with our feelings and clear them in a tender way.
Practicing Compassionate Clarity
a) Ask someone, "What is your greatest concern or joy (in this moment)?"
b) After they answer say, "Thank you," and repeat the question.
c) If you need more information to understand their situation, you can say, "Tell me more."
d) You can repeat this process several times until there is a major clearing.
Do not have any bias if it is a concern or a joy. A concern will eventually lead to a joy. A joy will eventually lead to a deeper concern to be cleared out as well. This is an evolutionary process to clear concerns and move to greater love, joy and gratitude.
Note: If you have difficulty expressing your emotion, often it is enough just to feel it. What you feel, you heal. Allow your attention to go to a sensation in the body associated with the emotion. Feel the sensation and be aware as it is released from your body.
