It is an age old tradition which was started by the Europeans and later on it was spread all over the world. However, this practice or tradition whatever you may call it, is now very popular in the United States of America and Canada. In the olden times, the most popular wedding favor was sugar cubes which were usually packed in boxes made of porcelain and well carved crystals. However, some people also gifted sugar cubes in boxes made of precious gems and stones. Now almonds are more popular than other gifts from the past, traditionally five almonds are given as a wedding favor which can be wrapped in a silk clot or any elegant fabric. This way of giving the gift represents happiness, wealth, health, fertility and longevity. But now with the change in times people expect sweet and adorable wedding favors rather than elegant and exquisite gifts. Sweetness reflects in the gift you give, if you really want it to be sweet and adorable. Key chains can be a very adorable wedding favor if it is properly decorated and seriously chosen. You can gift key chains with small wedding bells attached to it which tinkle. You can also add a small picture of the bride and groom in a small heart shaped frame. Such gifts might not be very expensive but holds a lot of emotions as the guests appreciate such gifts. Another type of adorable gift which you can present to your guests can be cute things made out of chocolate as chocolate is one of those things which fit into any and every happy occasion. They are just like flowers which can be given as gifts at any happy moment. You can also go for a tropical look which is very unique as well as very adorable. It can as a bucket full of sea shells. In this also, you can add a lot of things. For example, the bucket you use can be made out of cane and you can color the sea shells. Different ribbons can also be used to tie the bucket from the corners which makes it look very beautiful. So know you now how a wedding favor can be a thing on which you have to ponder over so much.
