The best way to make an impression is go with a large bouquet of roses, with a beautifully worded card to go with it. Chocolate is a girl's best friend, well next to diamonds that is. If you buy some chocolate for her, don't just get the usual chocolate in a heart shaped box. Instead, go for something a bit better and original. Find some Pot of Gold or specialty chocolate that costs an arm and a leg. By going all out on the chocolate, you will make your wife a very happy woman. As with the flowers, include a special card to give it a bit more personality and show that you took some initiative for her gift. Obviously, choosing between the two of these options is really not that hard and it all comes down to what you want to buy her and what she will like the most. The main thing to remember is that you did not forget to get her something, which to her would hurt a great deal. If you buy her a gift, then you have already made a great impression and you can look forward to a wonderfully romantic Valentine's Day night. One last option, if you cannot decide what to get her, is to buy her both. Give her a bouquet of roses with some flowers, and include a personalized message with it. You can't lose if you take that scenario.
