Lime Oil Lime is extracted from the rind or skin of the lime and it evaporates very quickly. Lime oil is wonderful non-oily carrier oil used in aromatherapy for its properties of being easily absorbed into the skin while toning the skin tissue. Lime oil also has properties of being an antidepressant and an antiseptic. Lime oil leaves your skin feeling refreshed and re-energized. Citrus carrier oils, because of their nature should be stored in a dry, cool dark area to keep them deteriorating to quickly.
