So you are ready to take your relationship with your Filipina girlfriend to the next step, that is to have her permanently in your life. You are sure of your feelings, and the next thing to do is to pop the question. You do not have to be nervous, or afraid of getting your proposal wrong. You also need not spend sleepless nights and acquiring wrinkles to come up with ways on how to best do it or spend a fortune and live on bread and water for the next 20 years to spend on a lavish gift or pay for a five-star resort. When is the right time? Anytime is the right time as long as you are 101 percent sure of your feelings, and you sense she feels the same towards you. Your Filipina girlfriend is someone you have known for sometime now. You have spent long hours chatting with each other through the internet, exchanged miles and miles of messages through email, and spent thousands on those phone calls. When you finally meet each other, and if sparks flew just as it did during your cyber dates, it should not be too hard for you to propose. Just do not propose to her as soon as you meet her on the airport. She would be with a thousand relatives, neighbors and friends for sure. Someone who grew up in a third world country where the priority is to put food on the table everyday will appreciate even a simple but creative proposal from you. Just because you come from different ends of the world does not mean that you need to overdo things like hiring a skywriter to splash your proposal across the skies or things like that. However if you can afford it and you really want to do it, then go ahead. You can propose to your Filipina girlfriend in her home (but definitely not in her bedroom) ,or in a place which is special to both of you. Think about your favorite romantic places but what is important for your Filipina girlfriend is to surprise her with the most special proposal to show her how much you love her. Settling into marriage with your Filipina girlfriend is a permanent arrangement, so plan ahead and do not make spur of the moment decisions. You know your girlfriend so take time to come up with whatever feels right for her. No woman could resist a spectacular scenery, good food, and romantic music but find the way to her heart. There are a million and one ways to pop the question. Take time to think and when you can find a way that can relate to your Filipina girlfriend, go ahead and do it.
