The gastric bypass surgery on the other hand is a more complex procedure and comes in two different methods: the Roux-en-Y gastric bypass and the biliopancreatic diversion bypass. As with every other medical surgical procedure, weight loss surgeries also come with risks and complications which include infections, blood clots, and hernias.
