Many believe that harmful and even fatal medical conditions may have about as a result of silicone implants as a result of harmful rupturing of the implants. The FDA approved silicone gel implants in 2006 and have verified them to be safe, even in the case of a rupture. Unfortunately there are very real dangers with having breast implants. They can break, they can leak and they can circulate throughout a woman's body, and sometimes for a significant period of time before this rupture is noticed. The cost of breast surgery is another major drawback. This is not something you want to skimp on, nor do you want to leave it in the hands of a backyard operator. The cost varies considerably from surgeon to surgeon. However, a rough guide is between $4,000.00 and $10,000.00. When considering a plastic surgeon it is important to get genuine testimonials from satisfied clients. Being unhappy with the size of your breasts can have a profound impact on a woman. Not only can it affect her body image and how she wears clothes, and the choices in clothes that she can make, it can go a lot further and affect her self-confidence and self-esteem in general and also make her feel unattractive naked and in intimate encounters. Thankfully women no longer have to resort to breast enlargement surgery in order to have bigger breasts. There are now more natural and less expensive options for natural breast enlargement that are as effective.
