Communication is one of the most powerful skills that we have. Communication can create a lot of things in this world. It also can destroy a lot of the things if it is used wrongly. In this article, we will discus seven most common mistakes that people make when they communicate. Also, we will talk about how to apply the law of attraction onto your communication. Communication is one of the ways to get connected to others. The people who can master their communication skill can get anything they want in life. The people who just communicate fairly well will be on the way to success. You should study how to communicate well in classes or some books. Just this one article will not be able to give you all necessary information. There are, however, some mistakes which we can learn to avoid when we communicate. The seven mistakes include: 1. Talk without previous thinking. We can not talk without thinking. The conversation without previous thinking may incur some related emotion. Often, the talk ends up with misunderstanding. Learn to pause for a few second before you talk. It will help you to ponder before you respond. This will significantly reduce the chance of misunderstanding. 2. Do not clearly convey your message. Think of the words to be used each time you speak. A lot of people can not communicate their thinking clearly. As a result, they are misunderstood and the communication fails miserably. If you think that what you have said may not be clear, rephrase it. You can let your conversation partner rephrase it in their own words if you can. This will eliminate all misunderstandings from the unclear words you used. 3. Talk about the things that you are not sure. If you are not sure whether it is true especially about other people, do not say it. This will prevent gossiping. You should not be the one who initiate gossiping. It wastes time and does not create any fruitful result. Spend more time on the communication which can lead to your goals achievement. Do not spend time on the useless issue especially on the one that you are not sure if it is true. 4. Say a lot of offensive words. Do not swear. Although we heard a lot of those words in movies, we should not do it ourselves. Dirty words pollute our minds and others'. They also tarnish your image. Avoid saying although sometime the situation may make you want to. 5. Talk about yourself more than the other. It's boring to hear your conversation partner talk about themselves and their family all the time. It is sometime considered impolite and unrespectful to the other. Your conversation partner will like you more if you allow him to talk more about himself. 6. Avoid eyes contact. Look into your conversation partner's eyes is another way to express your sincerity. You have nothing to hide from him. You can simply create trust by just look into his eyes and communicate. Do not turn away and talk. It is not only a insincere manner but also impolite. 7. Do not keep your polite manner. Keep your posture in a polite and acceptable manner. Act like most polite and decent people do. Learn how to greet people and talk to people politely. Politeness can lead to the fondness if you use it in the right way. Visualize that you are a good conversation partner. See yourself as someone with whom people like to talk. Feel the experience of pleasant conversation and communication in your visualization. After a few session of visualization, you will be more confident. Your subconscious mind will attract more suitable circumstances that allow you to improve your communication skill according to the law of attraction.
