There are so many different ways to make money on the internet that it can almost get overwhelming. I am about to confuse you even more. If you have a blog you are about to discover another revenue stream. This involves reviewing blogs posts on other people's blogs as well as getting paid to refer people to review your own blog posts. There are many advantages to getting your blog posts reviewed. Certainly anytime you have visitors coming to your blog that is a good thing. But here is a side benefit that many people do not think about. When you get your blog reviewed you have people putting your blog address on their blog. This really goes back to the old reciprocal linking concept except here you are getting a one way link.The more of these links you get the better it will rank with the search engines. Google especially likes backlinks and it is one criteria in how you rank for various keywords. Hyperlinking a keyword phrase in a blog post works great for getting even more backlinks. You can add banners with your link as well in your blog posts or on your blog. Then it all comes down to traffic. Getting as many visitors to your blog will make the difference in how much you earn from it. This is no different than building a website except that social marketing has really given you many options for getting more traffic via social directories like Digg.com, Reddit.com and others. There has been much discussion about making money from your blog. I personally see nothing wrong with it. Unless you are financially independent you have to make money for the work you are doing. Blogging is not hard physical work, but it does take time. Getting paid for your blog posts, and having your blog reviewed takes effort on your part. So you should be rewarded for that. Blogging is a lot f fun, Getting paid to have people review your blog posts is fun. Getting paid to review other blogs can be profitable if you work at it. This is just another way to make money online blogging.
