The Truth about Hypnosis
What is Hypnosis? In short, Hypnosis is simply a natural state of mind. Everyone has felt the state of mind at one time or another. Hypnosis is pretty much like meditation. Many of us will fall into such natural state without even knowing it. For example, have you ever been in deep thoughts while driving from work back to home and you didn't even realised that you are driving? The reason is that when you are in a certain state of mind, your subconscious takes over the driving while you are using your conscious mind to mull over a subject. However, your subconscious mind did not take over the conscious mind. It is also interesting to note that in Hypnosis (or a certain state of mind), a person's subconscious can take over the conscious mind. Ever noticed that a hypnotized person will do the strangest things? The reason is that when your subconscious mind takes over your conscious mind you are full of imagination and you can be implusive. You will react automatically to any suggestion. That?s why you will see someone do something very strange while under a trance. However, note that only a small percent of people are truly able to be hypnotized. Futhermoe, this only refers to hypnotizing at a deep state. Practically speaking, anyone can be affected by hypnosis, but they can only go under a little. It is estimated that 15% of all the people around the world can be hypnotized to go into a deep state. In a deep state, you are able to uncover secrets that were buried and you can also unlock many hidden things that lurk in the mind of another. It in interesting to note that lying above the deep state is called a trance state. You may also ask: What is a trance state? A trance is the most important part of hypnosis. It described as a mental state between consciousness and unconsciousness: You are not a sleep, but you are not fully awake either. A trance state can be induced by your own intrigue to a movie or book. It can be induced by a person.
