Even if they are not able to understand at first, it is still nice for the parents to read them and they will soon be able to start using them as well. Although they will probably have one already, if you can find a really good baby owners manual, it is a good present for new parents to be. Even if they have one it is good to get a book as there are only so many times that they would want to look through, so it is good to get a different one to look at.
