By its charitable efforts, it gives strength, joy and hope to children suffering from life-threatening medical conditions. While it has now become one of the most renowned charities in the world, it maintains its grassroots mission of wish fulfillment of needy children. It does this through a network of about 25,000 volunteers who serve as fundraisers, wish granters, assistants of special events, and in many more ways. Peta- People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals Peta is another organization that uses e-greeting cards as a part of its fundraising venture. The money that is acquired through the sale of these cards goes to a variety of activities related to alleviating the cruelty meted out to animals. They help to educate people about how animals are treated cruelly by various industries, such as in the clothing and leather trade, in factory farms, in pharmaceutical laboratories, etc., explaining how people can prevent it.
