The translation software should be easy to use even for someone who isn't that knowledgeable when it comes to computers and should integrate effortlessly with the other programs that you have on your personal computer like word programs, spreadsheets, email, instant messaging, etc. Just like any other software, you would want the translation software to be simple to install and setup. An installation guide should be included and as much as possible there should no run time errors. Help and support from the software manufacturer are very important. A user's guide should be provided as well as a website will be very much convenient for the user to access with online updates, FAQs and user's forums posted. Contact information (telephone number and email) should also be provided on the website for easy contact should technical support or help be needed.
