Whether you're searching for your life's partner or a playmate for Springtime hikes and flower shows, online dating sites are a great way to meet new people. With all the people online these days, you're almost guaranteed to find dozens of interesting girls and guys who live right in your city and people you'd never meet otherwise because your paths just don't cross. Put some effort into your search for love. When you sign up with an online dating site, you get to fill out a neat little profile to tell people who you are and what you're looking for. If you want to attract interesting people, you have to put a little effort into creating an interesting profile. After all, your profile is your first introduction. Romeo's 5 Steps to a Great Dating Profile 1. Write an attention getting headline. Everyone is 'looking for love'. Stand out from the crowd with a catchy opening line like "Looking for Dessert in a Meat and Potatoes World" or "This Tin Man Wants to Share His Heart". 2. Polish up your positive attitude. Your "About Me" section is not the place to be self-deprecating. Be honest, but be positive. If you're not comfortable describing yourself, ask a friend to name your best qualities and use them! 3.
