Get Motivated And Be A Blessing
Motivation is something not found in ordinary people. Most people go about their day looking to react to things that happen around them. All of the successful people I have met have been motivated by fear. Fear that they will be average. I did not say some or most people I know, I said ALL successful I know have a significant motivation level driven by their fear of being average. I am the same way. The worst thing anyone could ever say about Sam Crowley is "He is just like everyone else." If I ever hear that, please shoot me - put me out of my misery. Are you a motivated individual? Are you someone who refuses to be average? Or are you like most people, waiting to see what people might think of you before you take action. That thought right there will keep you from ever being successful. If you can't handle criticism, you best stay right where you are in life. Motivational is a decision. You have to wake up everyday and say "This is the best day of my life." How can it not be? You woke up and were able to enjoy another day. Your response might be "But Sam I don't enjoy what I do" To that I say make significant changes in your life. Let the fact you're not happy with your current situation motivate you to do something different. Here's a million dollar nugget: If you wake up the same time, have the same breakfast, do the same morning routines, go to work and end your day the same everyday, guess what will change? Absolutely nothing. If you do what you've always done, you will get what you've always got. Get motivated. Change your routine. Start telling people where you're going versus telling them where you've been. Speak your future into existence. Have people start talking about you in a way they never have before. And you say "But that's you, you're different." Exactly. I am different. I am different because I get excited. I refuse to let negative people bring me down. I refuse to take the only life I have been given and waste it away. Life is not a dress rehearsal, you only get one shot. If you want perspective, go visit a cancer ward. How about a children cancer ward. Are you still doubting the gift you've been given? Do you think those cancer victims I mentioned would give everything they have to have day like yours? It's time to get motivated. Get excited about being alive and be a blessing to other people. Give something away, even if all you have to give someone is a smile. Imagine giving a smile to everyone you meet today. Think of the lives you can impact with that one small gesture. Take small steps in your motivational walk, you and everyone you meet will benefit.
