Springtime Planting, 3 Steps to Your Fruitful Harvest
10461 Self Improvement > Positive Attitude Mar 1, 2007 Janette Marie Freeman Springtime Planting, 3 Steps to Your Fruitful Harvest As spring has sprung in many places throughout the world, it is a time to remember the call of spring?s new growth. Farmers and gardeners throughout time have used this time to plant that which they would like to harvest in the fall. What would you like to harvest? What fruits would you like to enjoy?

Through many sources we are told that what we sow, we shall reap; what goes out from us must return to us; what we think comes back to us, etc. These timeless truths are repeated for us in many ways. What seed thoughts will we consciously plant? The following three ideas can help us to assure our harvest is what we would choose.

1. Plant only those seeds that will grow your desired harvest.
A gardener knows that in order to experience fresh tomatoes in the summer, they need to plant tomato seeds. Carrot seeds will not give the desired result of tomatoes. Would you like to experience greater abundance in your life? How about greater freedom or greater health? If so, would you be willing to contemplate these things today? Would you be willing to STOP all worry and affirm your success, happiness, health and freedom? Would you be willing to read something uplifting? Would you be willing to take one action in the direction of your greater health? If you want to harvest greater joy, success and happiness, you will have to plant those seed thoughts now and repetitively.

?TODAY, I am filled with love, joy and gratitude. I plant the seeds of love, joy and gratitude in all that I do, knowing that the good life is expressed all around me, in me and through me.?

2. Every moment is a new beginning.
No matter what has taken place in the winter of your year, springtime represents a totally new beginning. New life where there was none is the hallmark of spring. Right now is a new moment in time for planting new ideas into the Law of life. You are not held down by the ideas of the past if you refuse to be held down. Start today affirming your new life. The universe doesn?t care what you affirm. It will support you.

?Today, this minute, I give thanks for my health, my abundance, and my joyful heart. The universe supports me in every way and I move forward in life with a joyful, passionate heart.?

3. It takes less energy to live constructively than it does to live destructively.
Have you ever tried to hold a beach ball under water? It is nearly impossible. It wants to float. It is against its nature to sink, when filled with air. The same is true for you and me. It takes a great deal of energy to fuel worry, fear and limitation. Our authentic Self wants to live in joy and passion, yet the egoic mind will work overtime to keep us stuck in the habitual patterns of fear and worry. It takes more energy to go against your nature, to try to be something you?re not, than to live an authentic life. I like the words of Dr. Seuss, ?Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don?t matter and those who matter don?t mind.?

?Today, I relax and live my own life, enjoying each day, letting other people?s experience be about them. I live in my authentic joy, knowing I have all that I need for today?
