And the range of fish available brings a delight to the gastronomically inclined as well.
The wonderful climate of Cairns ensures that the fishing season lasts throughout the year. The dozens of popular species have their peak periods during different months. For example, in the game fishing circles, while Black Marlin is mainly found from September to December, Blue Marlin is available from December to March.
